With a Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from R.V. College of Engineering, Bangalore, and a Pre-University degree from Karnatak University, she started her career as a Software Engineer at Visa. After working for 4.7 years in the IT industry, she decided to pursue her passion for serving the nation and joined Indian Railways as an Indian Railways Traffic Service (Probationer). During her tenure in Indian Railways, Nivedita has served as an Assistant Operating Manager in the Hubli division and has gained extensive experience in the railway industry.
